What are Adjuvants?Adjuvants are heavy metals the body has trouble eliminating and detoxing. Most people have difficulty when it comes to detoxing heavy metals... some more than others. What are some things you can do to help aid your body in the elimination process of heavy metals? Oral ChelationOral chelation has been shown to be effective at eliminating heavy metals. Some of the most effective ways to chelate orally is with cilantro and chlorella. Jon Barron states in his article "Clinically Proven Oral Chelation" that "The researchers concluded that an organic herbal oral chelation formula of cilantro and chlorella is a very effective heavy metal chelator and a great product for those that have very acidic pH intra-cellular imbalances." The research he references states that over a 42 day period, test subjects showed an average chelation of lead at 87%, mercury 91%, and overall chelation of aluminum at 74%. Five subjects showed a reduction of 100% in their lead levels, 17 subjects had a 100% reduction in mercury levels and 10 subjects had a 92% reduction in aluminum levels. (1) The study also showed that pH ranges moved an average of 33% into the wellness range because the nitrogen, nitrates, and ammonias increased to overall wellness numbers by 25% therefore increasing the pH to a more alkaline level. The cilantro and chlorella were able to help detox at an intracellular level. (1) Heavy Metal ChelatorsResearch has shown that cilantro is able change the electric charge on intracellular deposits of heavy metals to a neutral state which frees up the tight bond and allows the body to flush the metals out. The next step is to absorb the heavy metals once they are flushed from the cells. That's where chlorella comes in... it has a high affinity for heavy metals. A study in Germany has revealed that high doses of chlorella have been found to "be very effective in eliminating heavy metals from the body - from the brain, intestinal wall, muscles, ligaments, connective tissue and bone." (1) Another great chelator, specifically for aluminum, is diatomaceous earth. Studies have shown that diatomaceous earth has a very high affinity for aluminum, creating an easy bond. This makes it a very effective chelator for aluminum, perhaps the best. (2) Bentonite clay is another chelator that at least needs mentioned. Calcium bentonite clay absorbs many heavy metals, toxins, kills bacteria, parasites and virusus. 1. Clinically Proven Oral Chelation, Written By: Jon Barron,
